SECTION 01

Core Philosophy & Commitment

At Hades Corporation (PT. Monarch Digital Indonesia), we believe desktop utility applications should respect user privacy unconditionally. Tickd is intentionally engineered as an offline-first, quiet desktop widget designed for personal focus and clarity.

We do not operate remote user databases, tracking services, or behavioral surveillance engines. Your personal thoughts, tasks, and notes belong solely to you.

SECTION 02

Information We Do Not Collect

Tickd operates with a strict Zero Data Collection policy. The application does not collect, record, or transmit any of the following:

  • Personal Identifiable Information (PII): Names, email addresses, phone numbers, postal addresses, or government IDs.
  • Content Data: Text of tasks, todo items, notes, markdown formatting, or timestamps.
  • Usage Telemetry: Keystrokes, active window durations, mouse movements, or feature usage statistics.
  • Device & Network Data: IP addresses, MAC addresses, hardware identifiers, or browsing history.
Key Summary: We have neither the technological capability nor the interest to read, analyze, or monetize your data.
SECTION 03

Local Storage & SQLite Architecture

All application state is stored locally within an embedded SQLite database (tickd.db) managed by Tauri's secure SQL plugin. This database file is stored in your operating system's dedicated local app data directory:

%APPDATA%\com.hadescorp.tickd\tickd.db (or the Windows MSIX container virtualized AppData path).

This file is protected by Windows standard NTFS file permissions. It is never synchronized to external servers, cloud buckets, or third-party storage providers unless you manually copy or back up your system files.

SECTION 04

Windows Operating System Permissions

To function as a desktop companion, Tickd utilizes the following specific operating system capabilities:

  • Autostart on Login (Optional): When toggled on by the user in Settings, Tickd registers a startup entry via Windows Registry (HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run) so the widget launches automatically upon login.
  • Window Position & Mode Persistence: The window geometry (position, size, and Floating vs. Desktop mode) is saved locally via tauri-plugin-window-state to restore your preferred arrangement across sessions.
  • System Tray Notification Area: Tickd provides a system tray icon for quick access to minimize, show, switch modes, or quit the process cleanly.

None of these capabilities access your personal files, contacts, camera, microphone, or network interfaces.

SECTION 05

Network Activity & External Links

The desktop widget runs completely offline and makes zero outbound network requests during normal operation.

The only network interactions occur if you explicitly click external hyperlinks, such as:

  • Opening the official Microsoft Store Product Detail Page (apps.microsoft.com).
  • Visiting the publisher website (hadescorp.net).

When clicked, external links open in your default web browser and are governed by the respective third-party privacy policies.

SECTION 06

Third-Party Services & SDKs

The Tickd desktop application contains zero third-party advertising SDKs, tracking libraries, or analytic frameworks.

On our marketing website (landing), web fonts are fetched from Google Fonts CDN. No cookies are set for marketing or tracking purposes. Any theme preference (Dark or Light mode) is saved exclusively in your browser's local storage (localStorage) and never transmitted to any server.

SECTION 07

User Rights & Data Deletion

Because all data resides exclusively on your machine, you possess absolute control over your information at all times:

  • Edit or Delete Items: You can modify or permanently delete any task, note, or checklist directly inside the app interface.
  • Complete Purge: Uninstalling Tickd via Windows Settings > Installed Apps and removing the local database folder completely and permanently erases all application data from your computer.
SECTION 08

Children's Privacy (COPPA & GDPR Compliance)

Tickd is safe for users of all ages. Because we collect no personal information from any user, we inherently comply with the United States Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA), the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), and the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA).

SECTION 09

Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect architectural changes or regulatory requirements. Any revisions will be published directly to this page with an updated "Effective Date". Because we do not collect user contact information, we encourage users to review this page periodically.
